| About Us For the past fourteen years,
Independent Nursing Services (INS) has built
their excellent reputation on the ability to
provide quality screened and skilled professional
nurses to current clients at a moment’s
notice in local per diem markets such as
Dallas/Fort Worth, Tulsa, El Paso and Houston, as
well as travel nurses to clients nationwide.
This, in part, has been due to the wide range of
expertise that the executives of INS bring to the
company. The following individuals have
been instrumental in INS’ rapid growth and
their position as a leader in the healthcare
staffing industry.
INS’ President and
Chief Executive Officer, Laura Yeager, RN has
been a licensed registered nurse since 1987.
She has worked in all areas of the hospital,
specializing in Labor and Delivery. After
working as house supervisor reviewing the quality
of candidates that were submitted for positions,
she branched into nursing support and in 1995
started Independent Nursing Services. Knowing
the challenges hospitals faced in finding
qualified staff, Ms. Yeager implemented various
screening methods of nurse candidates to fill the
hospital positions. Drug screens and background
checks in addition to general practices such as
reference checks and employment verifications
became a standard in 1996 for INS, a practice not
adopted by the industry until years later.
Since its inception in
1995, Ms. Yeager and INS have grown into a
national company by keeping to the philosophy of
“Create Raving Fans of Patients, Facilities,
and Nurses”. Where appropriate, nurses
continue to hold manager and recruiter positions
to maintain focus on continual improvement of
quality patient care, nursing and customer
service. Growth began by hospital and nurse
referrals; this method is still the leading means
for growth and expansion for INS today.
Chief Financial Officer,
Lisa Solomon, has over seven years with INS and
the nurse staffing industry. Her 25 years
experience in the financial and tax field, has
contributed to the streamlining of INS’
accounting department to handle the Company’s
growth into twenty states. Ms. Solomon’s
knowledge and commitment to excellence has
allowed her to maintain accuracy within the
accounting department and continually integrating
new technologies to better support our clients
customized invoicing needs. INS’
accounting department is known for their prompt
attention to invoicing issues and is always
available for client billing questions.
Kevin
Bollin, Vice President of Business Development,
has extensive prior experience in the healthcare
staffing industry, having held management
positions at two of the largest healthcare
staffing agencies in the country. Mr. Bollin has
been instrumental in negotiating new client
contracts, increasing revenue, implementing
performance improvements and improving the
company's competitive position. His effective
management and leadership qualities, excellent
communication skills and talent for building new
business will continue to help propel Independent
Nursing Services, Inc. to the top.
Nicole Bambalere,
Independent Nursing Services’ Director of
Credentialing and Compliancy, has worked in
various realms of quality assurance over the past
nine years. She has experience overseeing
vocational education accreditation for schools
with multiple locations across the country, and
as the corporate recruiter for a nationally
franchised chain of clinics. For the past
five years Ms. Bambalere has focused on medical
caregiver staffing with INS, specializing in
credentialing and process management. With
a strong background in psychology and a
specialization in industrial psychology, her love
for details and organizational management are
apparent in her audit results, where she
consistently receives perfect scores.
In
2009, INS was awarded the Health Care Staffing
Services Certification from The Joint Commission
on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
This award signifies Independent Nursing Services’
continued pledge to excellence in providing
health care staffing services. Independent
Nursing Services achieved this award by
demonstrating their compliance to the national
standards performance measures of the Joint
Commission. The Joint Commission's focus is on a
firm's ability to provide competent nurse
staffing services and evaluates performance,
continuing education and training, placement
criteria, leadership, human resource management
and information management.
